About The Artist
Nothing is as gratifying to me as watching a sketch come to life in the studio. Metal appears to be butter (sometimes a liquid) that can be transformed into whatever I can imagine. I can add stunning gems or embellish the surface, or even “paint” with rich enamel colors. I can change textures and shapes with tools or chemicals, or temperatures. It is both science and art. For me, it is also the best form of therapy. It is far from easy, but so satisfying that I happily work through the challenges and yes, sometimes pain, to get that exhilaration.
